1) Opener: Define the following term in your notes:

Stock(s)- A share(portion) of a company

2) Describe how people profit from the sales of stocks (appreciation/dividends)

3) Jing- Presentation on how to research stocks

4) Jing- Presentation on how to invest in the virtual stock market

5) Next, students should create an account and buy at least 1 stock (this is done

through the Stock Market Game link below)

6) Students are then to create a screencast of the purchase of their stock and checking

their stock 3 times

7) Closer- Discuss as a class:

Why do people invest?

What are important questions to ask when investing?
